Stephanie Tsicos is a journalist for CTV Atlantic based out of Halifax.
Stephanie is originally from Barrie, Ontario. She studied Broadcast Journalism at Fanshawe College.
In 2016, Stephanie joined the CTV News team in Winnipeg as an overnight video journalist and traffic reporter. She then made the move to the dayside in June 2017 when she began working as a reporter for CTV News Winnipeg and producing CTV News at Six on the weekends. In September 2019, Stephanie became the weekend anchor.
In 2021, Stephanie headed east to join the CTV Atlantic team as a reporter for the CTV News at Six and anchor of the CTV Late News at 11:30.
Before joining the CTV News team, Stephanie worked in various radio and television jobs in the Barrie area, including working as the in-game host for the Barrie Colts.
Stephanie loves to cover a variety of stories – everything from breaking news to fun features. A favourite of hers was covering a Winnipeg group’s attempt at shattering the Guinness World Record for the most high-fives in a three-minute relay. (Spoiler: they did.)
When she’s not working, Stephanie can either be found playing hockey, with her face in a good book, or drinking iced coffee.
