Logan a third-round draft pick from Colorado in 1976 was often called "a Gary Collins with speed." The 6-foot-4, 216-pounder was critical to the Browns' success, leading the 1980 squad with 822 receiving yards. But he doesn't like to trumpet himself. He praised all of quarterback Brian Sipe's receivers. "Our whole receiving corps was special," said Logan, adding that tight end Ozzie Newsome and linebacker Clay Matthews were the best players he ever played with. "We kind of classified ourselves as blue-collar guys.

We were the first team ever that had five guys that caught 50 or more passes in one season." Fullback Mike Pruitt led the way with 63 catches, followed by Reggie Rucker (52), Logan (51), Newsome (51) and tailback Greg Pruitt (50). And what about those eight late-comeback wins in that incredible 11-5 season? "We got used to doing that," Logan said.
