We need to verify your source of fund
A few examples: If you have deposited by bank transfer, we might need to verify your bank account before returning your funds. If you have deposited by card, we might need to verify your card payment before returning your funds to the linked bank account.

The IG Markets minimum withdrawal amount is $100 or a currency equivalent, and IG Markets does not levy internal fees except for a 0.50% currency conversion cost if applicable.
How long do IG withdrawals take?

After the settlement period, you can request a withdrawal. The following withdrawal times will apply: Card: typically between 2 to 5 bank working days. Bank transfer: usually on the same day if requested before 12pm (UK time) on a working day, but can take up to 3 days to clear.
IG has no minimum deposit for bank transfers, but has a $300 minimum deposit for credit/debit cards and PayPal.
Our standard charge is 0.5%. For relevant share dealing transactions on share dealing accounts, we will convert currencies at the time of execution based on the best available bid/offer exchange rates, plus our spread of 0.5%.

Where is IG located?
Our UK head office is located in London, and we have operations in another 18 countries. Our first overseas office, in Melbourne, Australia, opened in 2002. Most recently, we launched offices in Bermuda, and the Netherlands. No matter where in the world we are, we're always on the lookout for a good challenge.
This means we're not exposed to the profit or loss of either client. Instead, we make our money via the spread (ie the transaction fee) that each client pays to trade. Sometimes, a large majority of clients will trade in one direction.
Keep in mind that after you sell stocks, you must wait for the trade to settle before you can withdraw money from your brokerage account. This typically takes two business days.
Not-Yet-Available Funds
The rest of the money is being held by your bank. This generally happens for two reasons, resulting in a low available balance: You've made deposits that haven't cleared and been credited to your account yet. There are pending withdrawals or authorizations against your account.
For most stock trades, settlement occurs two business days after the day the order executes, or T+2 (trade date plus two days). For example, if you were to execute an order on Monday, it would typically settle on Wednesday. For some products, such as mutual funds, settlement occurs on a different timeline.
