There seems to be a lot of bad stories here since deliveries (My May 11 build XLT is on a hold for an undisclosed reason), and it would be nice to know if folks have had positive delivery/first 1000 miles experiences. No transmission/ill-fitting dashes/mis-aligned doors/rusted axles, etc. Ford built 7000 units in May and sold 4000. I would hope there are positive outcomes here. Would be nice to hear these. Thanks!

I have just over 2000 miles on my Ranger Raptor built the week of 3/19/24 and have no complaints. My hood closed hard but I adjusted the hood latch and all is good now.

My story goes as:
100% positive delivery experience
95% positive vehicle experience

Flew from NY to MI to pickup my Raptor. Client advisor picked me up at the airport. Vehicle was ready upon arriving at the dealer. Quick test drive, signed the paperwork, handed over the check and done. From the time I landed to the time I left was MAX 1hr 30min. Superb experience.

The truck itself was flawless the 1,200 miles home. I noticed a slight exhaust leak, which my local dealer diagnosed as loose seals/clamps….its being addressed as we speak. Local dealer also noticed a leaking driveshaft, which is also being replaced…doesn’t bother me, truck drove great.

Other than that, my truck has been everything I expected it to be. 3,000miles in 6 weeks, and no buyer’s remorse.

Originally ordered on 7/7/23, I assumed this abandoned order in December. That vehicle was built on 1/31 and is still sitting at MAP. Reordered on 4/16, given built week of 6/3. Found a perfect match for my order on line in early May, drove across state and purchased on 5/3. Truck has performed flawlessly for nearly 2400 miles since then ( a couple of 600 mile weekends!). I'd still be waiting for my second order.....

Thanks. I also have found a perfect match on a dealer's lot (where I bought my 2020 XL STX) about 30 miles away, except for color. My May 11 build (Feb 8 order) who knows when or if it will get released and I really want to have this by July 1. I've never met my local dealer sales guy, but he's been pretty patient with me and I get my service there. I feel kind of bad abandoning my order.

I’ve been super happy with my Ranger Raptor. Dealer experience meh…

Usual pressure on financing, warranty and gap insurance.

Felt obligated to finance hard to find truck at near MSRP, but glad I knew about Flood Ford’s online ESP program (same as Granger). Saved thousands.

Was surprised they pushed gap insurance given 1/3 down… Saved another thousand.

Dealer was 4 hours from home and I understand they had zero expectations of service or follow-up work, but seriously disappointed to start $60,000 truck and have 6 miles of range on the “tank” of gas.

Bought my car 800 miles away and have put 2100 miles on it in 1.5 months

The day 1 drive home 800 miles was flawless. Truck impressed me a lot, good amount of power for highway passing and you can go from 75-90 faster than you think for overtaking. Adaptive Cruise Control blew my mind, amazing feature for long highway drives. It met and exceeded all the expectations I've had after watching videos on the ranger for the last 2 years.

A few weeks later my wife took it on a camping trip ~2 hours south - truck again performed flawlessly for her.

2 weeks ago we did another 650 mile road trip to The Caverns. No issues at all.

The people with complaints will be the loudest on this forum. The rest of us not having these issues aren't talking about it, we are instead out enjoying these amazing trucks. The only complaint I really have is that my original order was built 1/18 and is still sitting in Michigan, that's why I found one 800 miles away and took a flight to purchase it. The infotainment center works great, there are a few bugs but any brand infotainment will have some bugs and quirks, I've yet to see one that doesn't and none of the bugs in the ranger are anything serious, just small annoyances.

Bought a stock order Ranger Lariat off the lot on April 15th and now have 5648 miles on the odometer. Have had zero issues with the Ranger other than having to install the J-Brace. Dealer did oil change at 5142 for free. Gas mileage is averaging between 21 and 22 mpg.

Ordered 2-29-2024
Took Delivery 5-16-2024

I love my 2024 Ranger Lariat. Other than an occasional CarPlay connection issue, I have nothing to complain about. The truck has the power that it needs, it rides smoother than any truck I have driven, I love the size (fits in my garage).

I have tinted the windows all around and getting a ceramic coating applied as I type this.

Ordered my raptor in September, build date march 5 and recieved march 30. Had to adjust hood latch because it wouldn't close. Other than that no issues as of yet and I love it. There are a few aspects of the interior that would have been better quality but nothing major or defective. No regrets here

I picked up my R/R on May 15th and drove it across the US. I drove it 2200 miles, I had the time of my life. The truck preformed perfect. It was the smoothest and funniest drive I have ever taken. I stopped at ever park or monument I could find. The only thing I wish I did was pay more attention to the tire pressure. The factory fills the tires to 50 PSI for some reason. They should be around 39 PSI. I was running high the whole time, it was hot as hell through Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, and Vegas. I didn't have any issues thank God. I am so glad I waited the 14 months for the truck! Nothing I have been in since compares to that truck.

I spent a couple of days searching for a Raptor in dealer inventory and playing endless email tag, I found two that had ones at or near MSRP. Both were located in very small (rural) towns, “Black Hole Towns” with zero bus service, and no rental car service (you can’t fly in nearby and drive one way and leave a rental). I decided on the one from Willrodt Ford in Chamberlain SD, which is 140 miles from the closest *affordable* flight (Sioux Falls).

We agreed on $1500 over MSRP for the truck, with beadlocks and keypad options only, plus a $300 doc fee. $60,300 out the door. (No sales tax, I have to pay that when I register it in Washington State.) No other options or dealer add ons. I paid a $1000 NONrefundable deposit to hold it and then completed the purchase papers the next day by email. I flew to Sioux Falls a week later and the dealer sent a local guy to get me, that shuttle cost was $300, for a four hour, 280 mile round trip for the driver. My flight and lodging in Sioux Falls added another $575.

The truck was ready and clean when I got there, I went for a brief drive by myself (the sales guy was very trusting) and then went in to sign the final docs and pay in full, using a cashiers check. Twenty minutes later I was gone,. There was zero pressure or haggling and the employees at Willrodt are most excellent and friendly. The sales guy told me that they had turned down an offer for $5000 over MSRP right after I made my deposit.

I drove 1200 miles back to Spokane WA in three days. The truck was flawless after I set the tires to 39 psi., near perfect condition inside and out. I say near perfect because the paint is fine visually, but it feels like sandpaper to the touch. I hope that a clay bar and polish will take care of that. There is no rust underneath the truck. The build date is 04/24.

I am blown away by the entire truck, the technology, performance, features and appearance and VALUE are incredible. I am a long time Land Cruiser guy, and this Raptor is a revelation to me. It in no way has that solid built like a tank feel of my 200 series, but otherwise I think the Raptor is a better vehicle. I sold my 2013 LC 200 with 172,000 miles yesterday to a dealer for $27,500.

When I got home I removed the four beadlock trim rings for storage (they and their hardware are about 20 pounds of unsprung weight!) and removed the dealer sticker and the two side Raptor stickers. I added a set of 3/4” Schrader valve extensions so that I can actually add air. Even with the rings removed, access was marginal. With them installed it was impossible.

I will get a Line-X Premium liner done in a few days. I have paid for a Go Fast Camper Topper that will be done in the Fall. I am going to hard wire my dash cam and install an auto-start defeat switch.

I LOVE this truck.

Similarly, bought a raptor at MSRP 1500 miles from home and drove it back. Fantastic truck, exactly as I hoped it to be. Dealership experience was adaquete (lacking any support or information order - leading up to delivery but seamless pickup)

Only minor issue is i can't get the heated steering wheel to actually heat up, though Ford owners manual says it's self regulating and lowering current to wheel in warm temps so maybe it works? Hard to tell
